Monetization Home 1.5
As Monetization Home gained traction among creators and internal cross-platform teams, we were tasked with introducing a scalable framework to support the onboarding of new monetization tools—each with its own unique set of requirements, making the original design no longer viable.
I led the redesign of the default view to support these varied tool requirements. For each page linked to the creator’s account, we now clearly surface which tools are currently eligible and highlight the next step needed to activate them. Tools the creator hasn’t yet qualified for are collapsed into a secondary section, reducing cognitive load and focusing attention on activating tools that are within reach.
This redesign led to a 46% increase in tool activations. Internally, the time to integrate new tools into the framework dropped from days to hours, enabling a smoother rollout. As a result, the platform scaled from 3 to 7 monetization tools within a quarter. It also unlocked early access capabilities, allowing 0-to-1 product teams to preview their tools to targeted creator cohorts—something that previously wasn’t feasible.
